This basic tournament set is just right for young chess players. The vinyl board is durable and the included plastic tube ensures an easy time rolling it up quickly and efficiently after a match. With a pockets for chess pieces, included, and a chess clock, not included, storage of all your stuff is easy. There's also a space for a notebook and two pens/pencils. All-in-all, it's a smart design.
The pieces themselves are large and feel good in your hand. Each piece has green felt on the bottom so they don't slide around once placed.

was quite disappointed by the quality of the chess pieces. Lightweight and pieces still had some flash from the molding process. also had to leave set out to air out had, a funky odor to entire set.
