Good ProductSep 08, 2009
By ABPC I purchased this product because I had lost some pieces to my magnetic electronic chess board and replacement pieces were insanely expensive. These pieces matched exactly! It is still a lot to spend just for the pieces, but it was worth it to me. As for the complete product, the board comes rolled up and I think it would be very useful to travel with. This product arrived in excellent condition and the storage tin is of great quality. I would buy this again, hands down.

Awesome magnetic chess board!Sep 23, 2009
By LoneGrape The title really says it all. It's easy to travel with and you can hold it up side down and the pieces don't fall off!

Good travel setMay 08, 2010

This is a good travel kit with two caveats: the board gets creased a bit if you roll it & then it's inadvertently flattened (though it can be corrected), and the carrying tube is quite bulky. I addressed this by pulling out the board & pieces and packaging them in a plastic bag, and I was then able to put it in my son's backpack for our plane trip. Generally, though, the pieces stick really well to the board, and it was great to be able to play chess on the plane and by the pool.
